To prepare for application, make sure your surface is dry and free of paint, wax, grease, polish, old finishes, or any foreign matter. Sand to obtain a smooth uniform surface. Shaky poly well. To apply, add a liberal amount of wipe-on poly to a clean, soft cloth and rub the poly into the wood.
