The perfect gift for the woodworker in your life. Use this food safe, nut free, beeswax wood finish to clean and condition wooden kitchen cabinet doors, cutting boards, rolling pins and bowls. It’s nontoxic and real food based rather than petroleum based like mineral oil. At first, the finish should be reapplied to your wooden utensils each time you wash them in soapy water. After a few applications the wood won’t require it as often as it reaches saturation. Once saturated, the wooden tool will feel smooth rather than dry and coarse grained after washing. Heat from a heat gun, hair dryer or buffing helps the wood absorb the finish. For maximum penetration, warm the wood in a 150 degree oven and apply with soft cloth.
